Visa Requests
If you require a visa for travel to the United States, you need
to apply for a visa with the U.S. embassy (consular division)
or consulate with ample time for processing. The conference organizers
strongly urge you to request a letter of invitation as soon as
possible, and no later than early May 2007. To avoid bureaucratic
problems, you should submit your formal application to U.S. authorities
a minimum of 120 days in advance of the date of anticipated travel.

Letters of invitation can only be faxed or mailed. Be sure to
provide your fax number and complete mailing address in your
request for a letter of invitation. Those requesting expedited
service (DHL, Federal Express, etc.) must provide an account
number for that purpose.
As you prepare for your trip, the US Visa web site (http://travel.state.gov/visa/)
has important information on obtaining US visas to help you plan
for traveling to the United States. Information regarding temporary
visas and who does not need a visa for travel to the US can be
